Licence for the alienation in mortmain by Richard, earl of Arundel, of the manors of Bury ani Westburton, a messuage, 82 acres of land, 6 of meadow, 10 of pasture, 10 of wood, 4/. 2s. 2d. of rent in Bulsham and Yabeton, a toft and half a rood of land in Arundell, 5 acres of land in Hampton by Angemeryng, held in chief, two messuages, 94 acres and 1 rood of land, 18 of meadow, 57s. 23d. of rent and the rent of a pound of cumin in Hampton by Arundell, not held in chief, which are together of the yearly value of 48/. 2s. 6d., as found by of John Olyver, escheator in Sussex, to the master and of the college within the parish church of Arundell, founded by the said earl, in part satisfaction, viz., 100 marks, of the 202 marks of rent which he had by licence granted to them, and which is to be reduced by that amount when the premises have been assigned to them.
