Licence, for 1 mark which Richard Wryght, chaplain, will pay to the king, for the alienation in mortmain by him to the parson and parishioners of the church of St. John the Evangelist, Bothestrete, Dublin, of a messuage in Dublin, in the parish of that church, lying in length from the street of Fisshamelstrete eastwards and to land of Kenewric Sherman westwards, and in breadth between the said church southwards, and a tenement of the same Kenewric northwards, which is held of the king in chief in free burgage of that city, by the service of 83d. of rent yearly, called langabil, as by inquisition taken by Roger Darcy, late escheator in Ireland, returned into the chancery of Ireland, whereof an exemplification has been shewn in the chancery of England, has been found, for the enlargement of the church and churchyard, and for a chapel to be built thereon in honour of the Virgin Mary. And the mark has been paid in the hanaper.
