Whereas Theobald de Mounteny and Robert de Eleford lately acquired fee from William de Hastynges the manor of Spene by Neubury, co. and entered therein without licence ; and whereas Agnes late the of Laurence de Hastynges, earl of Pembroke, by judgement of the court, has recovered one third part of the manor as dower, and the two parts have been taken into the king's hands on account of the he, for 100 . which Theobald and Robert will pay, has pardoned trespass and granted that they shall have again the two parts and into the third part after the death of Agnes, and retain the whole to and their heirs. And the 100s. have been paid in the hanaper. Berks.
