Licence for William, son of William de Monte Acuto late earl of Salisbury, and Joan, his wife, to enfeoff John de Wyngefeld, chivaler, Richard de Aketon, chivaler, Walter Guppay and Thomas Waryn, of 100 marks of rent in Cheddeseye, co. Somerset, and of the reversions of the manors of Mersshewode, Frome, Wodeton and Whitefeld, co. Dorset, with the knights fees, advowsons of churches and all other appurtenances of the manors, expectant on the demise of Robert Fitz Payn and Ela, his wife, and the manors of Worthe, in the same county, and Pole, co. Wilts, with the knights fees, advowsons of churches and all other appurtenances of the manors, which John de Veer, earl of Oxford, and Maud, his wife, hold as her dower; and for them to re-grant the said rent and reversions of the manors, which are all held in chief, to the same William and his heirs.
