Commission of oyer and terminer to John de Stouford, John de Molton, John le Ferers, Oliver Seint Johan, William de Brightlegh, Alan de Asshe and Adam Bret, on complaint by Richard de Stapelton that Emery Fitz Waryn, sheriff of Devon, John Juliene, John Louecok, Thomas Dauneye and others, at Couelegh, in the said county, assaulted_him so that his life was despaired of, carried away his goods and assaulted his men and servants, whereby he lost their service for a great time. The king has commanded the coroners of the county to summon jurors for them. By fine of 1 mark paid in the hanaper.
