Commission to William Walkelate, king's serjeant at arms, Nicholas Braye of London and Adam Coggere to survey a ship called la Peter, whereof John le Fitz Wautier, chivaler, is lord, and William Lokman, son of Thomas Lokman of Donekirke, in Flandres, is master, as well as two boats called Hegbotes, wherein it is said much wool and other merchandise liable to custom have been shipped by the said William Lokman in a place called Bourmanwar, in the hundred of Dangyhundred, co. Essex, not cocketed or customed, to be taken thence with all speed to Donkirke, and to arrest the ship and boats, if such be found in them, with the masters and mariners of the same. By K. & C.
