Appointment of Henry Thorpe, the king's serjeant-at-arms, William Stoket, William Batheley, Thomas Perle, John Orchard and Richard Lowe to arrest Stephen de Braynford, lately escaped from the prison of the staple at Westminster, detained there at the suit of Simon Orfeour, merchant of Amiens, for a sum of 88/. before Nicholas Exton, mayor of the staple, who fears for himself and for Robert Batheley, supplying his place, no small damages and loss of goods for the said escape.
