Pardon, for 5 marks paid in the hanaper, to Andrew Hamond, parson of Horham, Robert Wolferston, Walter Walgrave, Henry Hunte, James de Boxstede, Laurence Porterose and John son of James de Boxstede, of their trespass in acquiring, in fee simple, without licence, the manor of Markeshale with appurtenances and the advowson thereof, held in chief, from Thomas Markeshale, and licence for them to alienate the premises to the said Thomas and Margaret, his wife, in tail, with remainder to the right heirs of Thomas. ;
