Writ dated at Kenington, 20 November, 12 Edward III teste Edward, duke of Cornwall, guardian of England, directing William Trussell, escheator this side Trent, that as the king has received the fealty of William de Roos of Hamelak, and respited until Easter his homage for the lands hereinafter mentioned on account of there being issue of the said William and Margery his wife (ratione prolis inter ipsum et prefatam Margeriam suscitate), he is, on security taken for a reasonable relief to be rendered at the Exchequer, to deliver to them the following lands and tenements assigned in purparty to her as the Not in the Inguisitions Post Mortem. Parr I. 821 eldest of the sisters and heirs of Giles de Badelesmere, tenant in chief, deceased, with the assent of John de Veer, earl of Oxford, and Matilda, his wife, the second sister, William de Bohun, earl of Northampton, and Elizabeth, his wife, the third sister, and John Tybetot and Margaret, his wife, the fourth sister, viz. in Kent, the castle and manor of Chilham, extended at 592. 7s. 22d. the manors of Hothfeld, 157. 16s. Blen, with 40 acres of pasture in Denne and 6 of land in le Blen, 74s. 10d. and Wilrynton, 81. 15s. 1d. except yearly rents of 18s. Ojd. assigned to the said John Tybetot and Margaret, his wife, out of the last named manor as her purparty; the manors of Chingeford, co. Essex, 281. 8s. 5d. Estheghtredebury, co. Wilts, 141, 14s. 1d. and Adderleye, co. Salop, 567. 10s. 4d. and a moiety of the manor of Tarente Russeauxton, co. Dorset, 91. 18s. 104d.
