Revocation, giving effect to a decision in Chancery, of letters patent committing to Katharine, lady Dengayne, for a certain yearly farm, the custody of the manors of Sentlyng in Seint Mariecraye, co. Kent, and Knelle, co. Sussex, and other lands lately Robert Bealknap s, in the king's hand by reason of his forfeiture, and confirming latters patent dated 20 February last, which are recited, granting the said manor to Juliana Bealknap, his wife, John Brode, Robert atte Cherche, Richard Cristelton, clerk, and Thomas Semelegh at the yearly farm of 45/. 6s. inasmuch as the said Katherine, lady Dengayne, upon summons of the sheriff of Kent by Richard atte Naker, Richard Holbech, Richard atte Stokke and Walter Clerk, and of Richard Pelham, bailiff of queen Anne s liberty within the rape of Hastings, by John Chepman of Bekkele, John Tanhous the younger, Stephen Harry and Richard Brekeston, failed to appear to show cause against the revocation.
