Grant, in fee tail, to the king's uncle Thomas, duke of Gloucester, of the reversion of the manor of Brustwyk with its knights fees, advowsons and other appurtenances, which queen Anne holds for life by grant of the king, and the reversion of the castle, manor, town and lordship of Okeham, co. Rutland, and of the office of sheriff of the county of Rutland Joan, countess of Hereford, holding a third part of the said manor, town and lordship, in dower, upon the death of Humphrey de Bohun, late earl of Hereford, her husband as fully as the same were held by the late earl of Northampton, all the premises having been granted to Edward, earl of Roteland, son of the king's uncle, the duke of York, for the term of his father's life; in part satisfaction of the 1,000/. a year lately granted to him when earl of Buckingham, on condition that if Eleanor, his wife, one of the daughters and heirs of the said Humphrey, should die without heir of his body, the said 1,000/. a year should remain to him in fee tail, which grant the king subsequently confirmed to him in fee tail notwithstanding issue by the said Eleanor. When any parcel of the said reversions falls in, the value thereof is to be deducted from the said 1,000U. a year. By p.s.
