Commission to John de Roos and Ralph de Neville, knights, on information that defects and destructions have been effected in the fences (clausuris) of the closes of the king's forests beyond Trent which are in need of much repair by the negligence and carelessness of insufficient farmers, and that divers trespasses are daily perpetrated therein, to enquire by juries of the counties of York and Nottingham, and certify into Chancery touching the premises.
