Licence, for 121. paid to the king by the commonalty of Scardeburgh, and Adam Clerk, burgess of Scardeburgh, for the alienation in mortmain by them of four messuages and 41s. 10d. of rent in that place, held of the king in burgage as parcel of the said town, to a chaplain to celebrate divine service daily at the altar of St. Mary, Scardeburgh, for the good estate of the said commonalty and Adam, for their souls after death and the souls of the late king and others.
