Grant, with the assent of the Council and for 100/. paid by him to the king at the Exchequer, to Alexander de Nevyll, knight, that he may resume and hold in fee certain lands and tenements in Lenarton, co. York, acquired to the use of Alexander, late archbishop of York, whereof he was enfeoffed under conditions of a bond by statute merchant to William de Aldeburgh, knight, in the payment of 200 marks, and which by the forfeiture of the archbishop were seized into the king's hand; upon his petition that, all his lands and tenements being extended in execution and delivered to the said William, he cannot support himself, wife or family, and is in prison, and upon the condition that if before Martinmas any one will give more for the lands than he offers, he shall surrender them, saving to him in that case the said 200 marks.
