Signification to S. bishop of London, of the king's revocation of his of John de Eldecote, king's clerk, to the church of Esthanyngin the diocese of London, believed to be in the king's gift by reason his custody of the land and heir of John de Hastyng , tenant in chief, found by inspection of the Iste king's rolls of Chancery to have been, other advowsons, assigned to Thomas le Blount, now deceased, and his wife, formerly the wife of the said John de Hastyng , as her ; that the said bishop may discharge his duty herein ut the presentof William de Clynton, her present husband, until it has been in court whether the advowson belongs to the king or to the William.
