Inspeximus and confirmation of a charter dated by the hand of Master Richard de Marisco, archdeacon of Northumberland, at the Tower of London, 20 May, 14 John, whereby the king grants and confirms to his men of Gumecestre the manor of Gumecestre, at fee farm for 1202. a year by weight and tale with all liberties belonging to the farm of the said manor. Witnesses : P. bishop of Winchester, William, earl of Salisbury, the king's brother, William, earl of Arundel, William Briewerr, Hugh de Nevill, William de Harecurt, steward, John son of Hugh, Henry son of the earl, Peter de Maulay.
