Licence, after inquisition ad quod damnum made by the sheriff of Salop, for John son of John son of Philip to enfeoff Roger de la Lee, clerk, of a moiety of the manor of Quatte, which is held in chief, for the latter to grant to the said John and Sarra his wife for life, with remainder to Joan daughter of John de Wauton, notwithstanding that the king will lose the custody and marriage of Roger son and heir of Thomas Corbet, kinsman and one of the heirs of the said John, to whom a moiety of the said moiety wea descend after the death of the said John, if the latter died seized it.
