Safe-conduct, until Christmas, for Gilbert Bete, burgess of Ippre, trading in the realm, uotwithstanding the proclamation which the king, at the instance of Philip, king of France, the king's kinsman, lately made that that king's enemies of Flanders should withdraw from the realm by Midsummer, and after that date should not be received or succoured with victuals or iv any other way, as it appears by letters patent of Philip that the said Gilbert is no enemy of that king, but comes and stays where he likes in that realm.
