Protection with clause nolumus for the Cistercian abbey of Bittlesden in the diocese of Lincoln, which is at present greatly burdened with debt, and for its lands, rents and possessions; and appointment, at the request of the abbot and convent, of John de Tyngewik to the custody of the same, during pleasure, so that the issues, rents and profits thereof shall be applied in relief of the estate of the house by his aid and counsel, saving reasonable sustenance for the abbot and convent and their necessary ministers.
