Grant for life to John Stok and John Kirton, in lieu of a grant to them of a tenement called Dyeresplace by letters patent dated 4 November, 5 Henry IV (see p. 822), surrendered because invalid because the tenement is parcel of the manor of Brymesgrove and Kyngesnorton, granted by the king to Richard, lord of Grey, of the manor of Cleton and Farlow, in the counties of Salop and Hereford, late of Edmund Mortymer, chivaler, and forfeited to the king because he was an adherent of Owin Gleyndour and other Welsh rebels, to hold to the value of 10l. yearly, so that they answer for any surplus.
