Inspevimus and confirmation, at the supplication of the king's knight John le Bolde, kinsman and heir of the under-mentioned Richard and tenant of the manor, of letters patent (French) of Henry, earl of Lancaster and Laicester, steward of England, dated at his castle of Kenilleworth, 26 December, 11 Edward III, granting licence for Richard de Bolde to enclose and impark 20 acres of land of his soil adjoining his manor of Bolde within the forest of Dereby, co. Lancaster; and grant that the said John may enclose and impark 480 acres more of his soil adjoining the manor. . Parr I. 471
