Whereas Thomas Horstone alias Shapewyke, canon of the cathedral of London and prebendary of Kentisseton in the same, obtained prebend by ordinary title by the death of Thomas Southam, his last and holds it peaceably at present but fears that he may be by provisions in the court of Rome, and the pope has made a to him of the prebend by bull by the name of Thomas alias Schappewyke, parson of the parish church of Great in the diocese of London; the king pardons to him all contempt and misprision in this and grants that he may accept enjoy the prebend according to the bull.
