Pardon, with the assent of the council, to John Webbe, master of a ship called la Cristofre of Hoke, William atte Hethe, master of a ship called la Welfare of Hoke, Thomas Bromwyche, master of a ship called la Margarete of Hoke, Robert Malger, master of a ship called la T'rinite of Hoke, William Ede, master of & ship called la Trinite of Hethe, Robert Bedell, master of & ship called la Marie of Wyght, Henry Bysshop, master of a ship called la Trinite of Farham, John Lyle, master of a ship called la Marie of Farham, John Clerk, master of a ship called la Alice of Hamele, Nicholas Shawe, master of a ship called la Blithe of Southampton, and John Petrich, owner of a crayer of Brisselden, pertaining to the town and county of Southampton, who stayed so long at Dertemuth with their ships under arrest that they expended all their victuals and other goods and went back with their ships for victualling to the town of Southampton and are at present waiting at the king's service by le Wyght, for their breach of arrest; provided that they do not cross to foreign parts without the king's licence.
