Suffolk, yoman, Richard Brigges of Barsham, co. yoman, and John Grove of Barsham, yoman, broke the said closes, mills and sluices at Stokton, Elyngham by Stokton, St. Mary, Gelyngham All Saints, Geldeston, Wynston, Wyndelle and Kyrkeby, co. Norfolk, drew up the sluices and cut into small pieces, dug in his soil at Metyngham, co. Suffolk, diverted course of the waters to the said mills, entered his free warren at and hunted there, cut down his trees at Geldeston, fished in his fisheries at Elyngham, Gelyngham St. Mary, Gelyngham All Geldeston and Brome and took fish, trees and earth from his soil the value of 40/. and hares, rabbits, pheasants and partridges from warren, lay in wait to slay him at Elyngham, assaulted his men and and so threatened them that they dare not go about openly. or 1 mark paid in the hanaper. 24059 29.
