Licence for Robert Nevill, bishop of Durham, and Nicholas Hulme, clerk, and the bishop's successors to grant to the abbot and convent of the monastery of St. Mary, Jervaulx, the manor of Lasynghy, extended at 26 marks yearly, as was found by inquisition taken before Edmund Portyngton, escheator in Yorkshire, to hold in frank almoin to find a chantry in a chapel of St. Mary the Virgin in the said manor and to support other charges ; pursuant to letters patent dated 7 November last.
