Pardon, for 12 marks paid to the king by John and Richard de Sutton, knights, John Bataille, Thomas Bataille and William Efeld, clerk, to them of their trespass in acquiring, in fee simple, the manor of White Rothyng from John Hende, citizen and clothier of London, tenant in chief, and entering thereon without licence, for which the manor was taken into the king's hand by John Clerk of Ewell, escheator in the county of Essex, and restitution thereof to them as acquired ; and licence for them to enfeoff the said John Hende, Katharine his wife, and the heirs of John of the same.
