to John de Burgh, knight, of allowance from Michaelmas, 49 Ed- ITI., of a yearly rent of 40 marks in his farm of the manor of Farnby Storteford, co. Herts, late of Humphrey de Bohun, last earl of tenant in chief, in the king's hands by reason of the minority his heirs, so long as he has the custody which by letters patent 7 February, 50 Edward III., was granted to him from Michaelmas, Edward IIL., at the yearly rent of its full extent, without any allowance, inadvertence of others dated 80 May, 46 Edward III., whilst the earl living, pardoning the said John for acquiring that rent from the earl licence of the king, and giving him licence to receive it in future; that he and the escheator have allowance thereof in the issues of the from the date of the earl's death until Michaelmas, 49 Edward IIL., the omission in the grant dated 7 February, 50 Edward III.
