Appointment of Edinund de Mortuo Mari, earl of March, William de Ufford, earl of Sutfolk, Thomas de Morrieux, Robert Howard, Andrew de Cavendissh, Richard de Waldegrave, John de Sutton, Robert Swynbourne, Henry Englissh, John Rokewode, William Aylmer, Robert de Kodyton, Walter Beneyt and the sheriff of Suffolk to arrest and bring before the king and his Council Edmund Brounfeld, monk of the abbey of Bury, who, notwithstanding the statute [of provisors] of 25 Edward III., has procured a provision of the said abvey in the Roman court and papal bulls, under colour whereof he has taken possession of the abbey by the aid of John Tudenham, David Marlyngforth, Thomas de Huntyngdon, John de London, Matthew Dislam, Peter de Houton, Henry de Feltewell, John de Heywod, Thomas de Gippewico, Richard de Aleombury, John de Barton, Henry de Grendon, Thomas Thaksted, William Wykham, Edmund Thorneton, monks of the said abbey, and Thomas Halesworth, James de Marham, John son of John Das of Tudenham, John Clerk, William Chapman, clerk, John Cousynge, Jokn Brynkele, baker, John Brokton and Robert Westbrom, laymen, who are also to be arrested for having placed him in corporal possession and installed him in contempt of the Crown.
