Mandate to all merchants and masters (rectoribus) of ships who are not the land of the heirs of Walter the Marshal, late earl of Pembroke, in going with ships and merchandise to Ireland, to observe at their, the ordinance of Henry III., which the king also, by letters patent the seal which he then used, caused to be proclaimed; to wit, that no not of the said land go to Ros or the Island, or touch there with or other merchandise to trade, under pain of forfeiture, because city of Waterford, at the port of which they ought to touch, was much thereby, and the king deprived of his rights and customs.
