Grant to Master Geoffrey de Asphale, king's clerk, as regards the manor of Hedindon. which was lately granted to him at farm at the king's will according to its lawful extent, that, instead of paying into the Exchequer the whole extent of the said manor, which, as it appears, with the exception of the hundred without the East Gate of Oxford held by Henry Dimmok for 20/. a year, amounts to 47/. &s. 5 d., he meet the charges upon the same, viz. of 100s. a year to Henry de Boweles and 12s. a year to the abbot of Oseneye, and pay the residue only into the Exchequer. Power to S. bishop of Waterford, justiciary of Ireland, to give the royal assent to the election, when made, of an abbess of Kilkilhyn, in the diocese of Ossory, void by the cession of Mabel de Curcy, for which licence has been already given, and, when the same has been confirmed by the diocesan, to take her fealty and to restore to her the temporalities.
