Grant to the wardens and commonalty of the mistery of mercery of the of London, in repayment of the sum of 378/. 6s. 8d. lent by them to king for the defence of the sea, that they or any merchant of the same or their factors or attorneys may ship any merchandise in the port London, wools, hides and wool-fells excepted, in any ships of denizens aliens, and take the same to foreign parts and bring back other merchanfrom foreign parts to the said port, with the exception of wines of growth of the duchy of Aquitaine, which are only brought in ships of quit of customs and subsidies until they shall thus be satisfied of said sum.
