Protection with clause nolwnus for one year for Raymond Merkades of Penne in the Agenais, king's merchant, who, by Stephen Casteyn and Stephen de Leger and other his servants, is conveying wines, armour and victuals to the northern parts of the realm in ships for the sustenance of the king and his lieges, the said Raymond having found surety in the Chancery not to take the same elsewhere than to the north, and not to communicate with the Scots, or the Flemings.
