Exemplification of letters patent, dated 16 Noyember, 6 Edward L., the originals having been accidentally burnt, by which the late king, in consideration of the lands and tenements granted in fee to himself and queen Eleanor by Robert de Crevequer, granted to him and his . Parr I. 373 802. of land a year by a reasonable extent to be made thereof, viz : land of Maylorsaysnek with its liberties to the value of 60/. a year, and dwelling-place of Prestaulton, with the land appertaining to it, to the of 20/. a year; if the same fell short of the value of 80/. as aforesaid, king was to make good the deficiency, whilst if the value exceeded the sum, then such surplus should remain to the king and his heirs, so that de Crevequer and his heirs should do the service of one knight for service, suits and customs appertaining to the said land of Maylorand dwelling-place and land of Prestaulton.
