Grant to John de Whelpedale and William and Stephen his brothers, that they with their company may acquire what they can of moveable goods in Scotland, and have the ransoms of all those whom they shall take prisoners. Nevertheless, if the king wish to have any prisoners of theirs to do his will with, such prisoners shall be delivered to him, and he shall be bound to pay 100 marks for any prisoner so delivered up.
