Signification to the archbishop of Canterbury of the royal assent to the election of Ralph de Marisco as master and warden of the hospital of St. Mary, Dover. Pardon to Geoffrey do Lucy, for a fine of 100/., of all trespasses in the forests of Henry III. in taking venison therein. Power to Robert de UfTord, justiciary of Ireland, with the counsel and consent of S. bishop of Waterford, the treasurer of Ireland, to enfeoff any men he pleases of the kind's waste lands in Ireland, to be held by knight or otlier service, or to demise the same to fee-farm, or for a certain rent, as may appear to the said Robert and the bishop to be most expedient to the king and his heirs, retixining the better places and sites for the building of towns and castles. Pardon, at the instance of Robert de Ufford, to Benedict de Dufford, after inspecting letters patent of Henry III. pardoning him the deaths of John son of William de Horning and William Chosayre of the king's suit for the robbery committed upon the said John and "William and others at the same day and hour as the said persons were killed.
