Grant to Perot Staneye and Guy Ferree, king's yeomen, of 51/. s. a year out of the farm of the manors of Dras and Rasene, co. York, late of Leftice de Kaynes, deceased (who held them in dower of the iuheritjince of John Paynell, deceased), during the minority of the heirs of the aforesaid John ; and grant to the aforesaid Perrot and Guy of land to the value of 10/. yearly in the king's wardships in the bailiwick of Ralph de Sandwyco, to hold during the minority of the heirs. Notification to J. archbishop of York and all the bishops and other prelates convoked at London, that the king is sending Roger Lestrange and Hugh son of Otto, stewaixl of tlie household, to make appeals on the king's behalf that in the said convocation they presume to establish nothing against the crown or the king's dignity. The like to the same, that the king is sending the above persons to command them not to hold their council touching anything pertaining to the crown, as they love their baronies. The like to the same, that the king is sending the above persons to exhort them and their clergy to make the king a fitting subvention.
