Mandate to the priors of Kirkeham, Newburgh, and St. Andrew's, York, to cite both parties in the cause between the prior and brethren of St. Peter's hospital, York, and the abbots of Fountains, Meaux, Beiland, Girvalle and Kirkestall, about sheaves and other dues claimed by the hospital, which was tried by order of pope Innocent before the dean of Lincoln and his fellow judges, who wished to consult the pope on some points. Owing to the disturbed state of the realm the cause was left in abeyance, but now, on petition of the prior and brethren, it is renewed. The parties are to appear before the pope either in person or by proctors, to receive terms of agreement or a sentence. Feb.
