Commission. Lanrecost. 12 February 35 Edward I. [1307.] On Tuesday in the feast of St. Benedict the abbot, to wit, 21 March Edward I, Geoffrey de Herteppol and Robert de Barton came to Hautewisil Tyndale to view and examine all the charters and muniments by which de Swynburn claims to have 10 marks yearly of the farms of Tyndale, reasonable estovers for his manor of Halghton in all the woods belonging the manor of Werk in Tyndale. Copy of two charters of Alexander king of Scotland ; one dated at Rokesbury 20 March in his 24th year, and the other imperfect. C. Ing. Misc. File 66. (24.) 2033.
