Writ to the sheriff of Gloucester. Westminster. 18 June I. [1297.] : Thursday before the Nativity of St. Mary. de Poteslepe, on the day when he for felony abjured the realm, messuage in Poteslep, but Juliana, his mother, holds of his heirs a there in the name of dower, with which she was dowered ten years his abjuration. William held a virgate of land in the said town of John de Solers ; of Poteslep now holds the same, and ought to answer the king for the day. INQUISITIONS The said William abjured the realm on Tuesday after the Ascension this year ; C. Ing. Mise. File 57. (13.) 1755.
