Thursday in week. abbess and convent of Clairussel in Normandy demised the rectory of to Sir Richard de Greneborw, an Englishman, a brother of house of Eton, for life, for his good service, without any rent; he held before the outbreak of war between the king and the French ; he died All Saints last and on St. Martin the escheator took it into the king's ; there are no profits thereof between All Saints and St. Peter's Chains. church is of the yearly value of 10/. 15s., whereof the vicarage is of the value of 5 marks, because the vicar has the small tithes, the oblations the tithe of lambs and wool, and part of the tithe of sheaves ; the abbot Bec Herlewyn has a portion of the tithe of sheaves of the yearly value of 4d., and the abbot of Oseney a similar portion of the yearly value of 15s. ; that the yearly value of the rectory belonging to the abbess is 100s. and more.
