Writ to the sheriffs of London. Tower of London. 23 March Edward III. [1344.] By the council. Inquisition : London. Saturday after the Annunciation. A ship of William Wymond called Farecost, whereof John Clerk of is master, on Saturday before the Annunciation was arrested the sheriffs of London at le Lymhwarft in the ward of Vintry, London, conveyed by the said master, John Boydyn, sailor of the said ship, and Cook, and a boy (garcionem) thereof to the quay called le Salt wharf in ward of Queen Hithe (Warda Rype Regine) for safety.
