All the growing corn in Boklond, Berkwey, Berlee, and a moiety of Therfeld, destroyed by a sudden storm of hail and rain on Sunday before St. Peter's last, and the straw and forage completely spoilt, so that no use could made thereof, except certain barley to the value of 10s.; all the corn in a moiety of Erdeleye, a moiety of Bradefeld, a moiety of Walkern, moiety of Throkkyng, a quarter of Ressheden, a quarter of Weston, a sixth Sandon, a third of Reed, and a quarter of Aspeden was destroyed with straw and forage, except barley to the value of 6s. 8d.
