Writ to the sheriff of Rutland. Perth. 13 August 10 Edward ITI. Inquisition before the sheriff in the presence of Thomas de Wympton and de Glaston, keepers of pleas of the crown. Ocham. Thursday the of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist. Richard de Haryngton on Friday before St. Margaret at Wyssingden struck John de Wytlebury with a knife on the left breast ; forthwith Robert Crowe of Wyssingden to the aid of the said Richard and struck said John with a stick and broke his neck, so that the said Richard and feloniously killed him there; immediately after the deed they left county.
