Order to the escheator in the county of Warwick to take the fealty (1) of Thomas Chaworth knight, who has taken to wife Isabel one of the daughters of Thomas de Aylesbury (son of John the son of Thomas the son of Margaret the daughter of Robert de Keynes the son of John the son of Luke the brother of William de Keynes the father of William the father of Robert the father of Lettice the mother of Laurence [de Ayot] the father of Maud the mother of John the father of John the father of John Cressy esquire), [and one of the kinswomen and heirs of the said John Cressy], and (2) of Eleanor late the wife of Humphrey Stafford of Grafton knight deceased, the other daughter of the said Thomas and the other kinswoman and heir of the said John Cressy, make a partition into two equal parts of all the lands, in the bailiwick, which the said John Cressy held of the king in chief or was seised of in his demesne as of fee on the day of his death, and cause the Jnquisitions Post Mortem (Chancery), Henry VI, file 163, no, 7, Thomas Chaworth and Isabel, and Eleanor, to have full of the pourparties of Isabel and Eleanor respectively, as the for 4 mark paid in the hanaper has respited until Michaelmas the homage due from Thomas Chaworth by reason of his issue by Isabel, and the homage of Eleanor, for the lands of the king in chief ; with proviso that each of the said heirs parceners have in her pourparty a share of the lands which held of the king in chief and so in the king's tenant.
