Commitment to John de Water, by mainprise of Thomas Waren of the Isle of Wight, esquire, and George Nesshefeld (dwelling within the priory of St. Bartholomew, London), esquire, of the keeping of the manor of Fresshewater, in the Isle of Wight, co. Southampton, with all profits and commodities pertaining to the manor, which is in the king's hand; to hold from Michaelmas last for 5 years, at a yearly farm of the 301. 2s. for which answer has been made to the king and an increment of 18s. ; with clause touching maintenance of houses, enclosures and buildings and support of charges ; and with proviso for the increase increase of his farm.
