Commitment (with like clause) to Edmund duke of Somerset, by mainprise of John Cheyne and Bertin Entwysell, knights, of the keeping of all the castles, manors, lordships and honours, commotes, cantreds, hundreds, lands, rents, reversions and services, offices, courts, leets, views of frankpledge, return and execution of writs, chaces, advowsons, knights fees, possessions and hereditaments, in England, Wales and the marches of Wales, which have come to the king's hands by and after the death of Anne late daughter and heir of Henry late duke of Warwick the son and heir of Isabel late countess of Warwick, and which are still in the king's hands by reason of the minority of George Neville, kinsman and one of the heirs of the said Isabel ; to hold from the time of the death of the said Anne for as long as the premises shall remain in the king's hands, at a yearly farm of as much as may be agreed upon between him and the treasurer by Easter next ; any statute, act, or ordinance to the contrary notwithstanding.
