Commitment to Maud countess of Cambridge, by mainprise of Richard Wentworth of the county of York, gentilman , and John Thwaites of the same county, gentilman , of the keeping of the manor of Helpryngham, in Hekyngton, Swaton and Bekir, of the manors of Thorp Latymer and Skredyngton, and of 13s. of rent in Sytheston by Grantham, co. Lincoln, late of John Nevyll, knight, who held of the king in chief ; to hold the same from the time of the death of the said John Nevyll until Michaelmas next, according to the form of the statute - published in the Parliament held at Westminster 8 Henry VI; provided that she answer at the Exchequer for the issues forthcoming therefrom in the mean time, if they shall be adjudged to the king, and keep the said manors in the mean time without waste and destruction.
