Commitment to William de Helegh and Ralph Rede, archers of the principality of Chester, and William Sharnesfeld, yeoman of the king's buttery, by mainprise of Hugh Smyth of Cestre and Thomas Botiller of Kermerdyn, of the keeping of the priory of Langenyth in Wales within the lordship of Gower, to hold the same during the war, rendering yearly at the Exchequer at the usual terms as much as is rendered at present and 13s. 4d. in addition as increment ; provided always that they pay tenths and . 291 with the clergy, maintain without waste and destruction houses, buildings, woods, enclosures and gardens pertaining to priory, and do and support the real services and all other things thereon.
