Commitment to Edward duke of Aumale of the keeping of all the lands late of John Lestraunge of Knokyn, tenant of the king in chief, (which keeping was lately committed to him when earl of Rutland by letters patent dated 23 July last), to hold the same from the time of John's death until the full age of his heir, and so from heir to heir until one of them shall have reached full age, together with the marriage of the said heir, rendering for the keeping and marriage as much as may be agreed upon between him and the council, maintaining the houses, buildings, woods, . enclosures and gardens pertaining to the lands, supporting all charges incumbent on the lands, and finding fit sustenance for the heir ; by mainprise of Robert Ramesay of the county of Essex and Thomas Appiltrewyk of London.
