Order to William Jouet, escheator in the county of Gloucester, pursuant to an inquisition made by Robert de Whityngton, late escheator in the said county, shewing that Margaret late the wife of Thomas Grauntson, knight, held in dower a third part of the manor of Dymmok, co. Gloucester, of the inheritance of (1) William de Monte Acuto, earl of Salisbury, son of Katharine one of the sisters and heirs of Otes Grauntson the father of the said Thomas, (Thomas having died without issue), (2) Roger Northwod, knight, of the county of Kent, son of John the son of Roger the son of Agnes second sister and heir of the said Otes, (3) Thomas Fauucunberge, son of Maud the daughter of Sibyl the daughter of Mabel third sister and heir of the said Otes, (4) Alice late wife of Thomas Wake, daughter of the said Mabel, (5) John Tudenham, knight, of the county of Norfolk, son of Katharine daughter of Tested by Edmund duke of York, guardian of England. We. 19013. F. 10. said Mabel, and (6) Roger Beauchamp, knight, son of Roger son of Sibyl the daughter of the said Mabel, all of whom are and heirs of the said Otes, and of full age, and that the Thomas Faucunberge has forfeited to the king because he to the king's enemies of France, and that the said Tudenwith the king's licence granted the whole of his pourparty the manor with the reversion of whatever pertained to him the lands which Margaret held in dower in the manor of his to Richard Ruyhale and Elizabeth, his wife, and the and assigns of Richard, and that the said Roger Northwod, with the king's licence, granted a third part of two-thirds the manor and the third part of the reversion of a third part the manor which Margaret held in dower of his inheritance to said Richard and Elizabeth and their issue, and that Margaret to Richard and Elizabeth by virtue of the said gifts grants, and that Richard de Monte Acuto with the king's purchased from the said earl another third part of twoof the manor and the third part of the reversion of a third of the manor which Margaret held in dower of his inheritto hold to him and the heirs of his body, and that Margaret to him by virtue of the said gift, and that the manor is of the king in chief by the service of rendering 1d. yearly the Exchequer at Michaelmas, to take the fealties of the said Roger Beauchamp and Richard Ruyhale, make a partition the said third part of the manor into three equal parts, cause and Roger Beauchamp to have full seisin of their pourthereof, and deliver to Richard Ruyhale and Elizabeth the of John Tudenham and Roger Northwode, retaining the king's hand the pourparty of Thomas Fauucunberge.
